Of course the work and rest hours can be tracked and registered in Microsoft Excel. However, the administrative burden can be relieved markedly by registering these in TeamTide. One of the parts of TeamTide is the registration of work- and rest hours.
Accessible for the whole crew
Every crew member can get access to his own overview of work hours. By simply selecting the worked hours, every employee enters his own work hours and the rest hours are calculated.
The simplicity can be magnified with the integrated link with the Planning Module. Since the standard working time of each rank is known, the worked hours are filled in beforehand on the basis of the planned working days.
Checking the data
The needed checks conform IMO / ILO, but also the regulations of MLC, are automatically done due to the set rest hours regime. When there has been less than 10 hours of rest, or the rest periods are divided in more than two periods, TeamTide immediately gives a notification of nonconformity.
